Knowledge Base: How can I add a subscribe form to my site?
Newsberry allows you to add a subscribe form to your site for each list. After you have setup a list, go to the Subscribers tab, then click on Fields & Forms.
Halfway down the page (under the fields) you will see a large button labeled Generate HTML Form Code. When you click this button, it will show a pop up with HTML code.
Copy this code to insert it anywhere on your site or give this code to the person who manages your website. The form can be customized to fit the look & feel of your site.
Important: Do not remove the hidden field in the form that looks like
<input name="listId" value="xxxx" type="hidden" />where xxxx is the ID of your list.
Adding and editing fields
The fields and data you collect from your subscribers is fully customizable. You can add an unlimited number of custom fields to your form, which will also allow you to segment your campaigns and collect detailed information about your subscribers.
Customization options include:
- Adding drop-downs, check lists, and multiple option fields
- Changing the order of fields in your subscribe form
- Hide or show specific fields.
