Knowledge Base: How do I add an Unsubscribe link to my email?

By inserting the tag [UNSUBSCRIBE] into your content, Newsberry will automatically convert this into a specific link for each subscriber.

Here are some examples on how you can insert the unsubscribe tag:

If you are sending HTML emails:

You can instantly <a href="[UNSUBSCRIBE]">unsubscribe</a> from our newsletter.

If you are sending text-only emails:

If you no longer want to receive these emails, follow this link: [UNSUBSCRIBE]

When the link is clicked, the subscriber will see a page with an Unsubscribe. The unsubscribe process is a one-click action, meaning that the unsubscribe happens immediately after clicking the link without a chance to confirm. If you are looking at the links in a Test Email, please note that the link will show an Example page. Since the Unsubscribe belongs to a particular email address, we can't really do unsubscribe a test email (image below).
