How do I add an Unsubscribe link to my email?
By inserting the tag [UNSUBSCRIBE] into your content, Newsberry will automatically convert this into a specific link for each subscriber.
Here are some examples of how you can insert the unsubscribe tag:
If you are sending HTML emails:
You can instantly
<a href="[UNSUBSCRIBE]">unsubscribe</a>from our newsletter.
If you are sending text-only emails:
If you no longer want to receive these emails, follow this link:
[UNSUBSCRIBE]
If you are adding the unsubscribe link with new content editor , you can add the unsubscribe link by selecting Unsubscribe link from Add tags section. To read more about new content editor, go here.

When the link is clicked, the subscriber will see a page confirming their action. The unsubscribe process is a one-click action, meaning that the unsubscribe happens immediately after clicking the link without a chance to confirm. If you are looking at the links in a Test Email, please note that the link will show an Example page. Since the Unsubscribe belongs to a particular email address, we can't really do an unsubscribe of a test email (image below).
