Problem adding subscribers

Once I add/import subscribers, a list of the email addresses comes up, but it doesn't seem to add them. It says they're ignored. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Melissa,

    Ignored usually means that the email address is in an improper format. If you'd like, I can take a look at your file. Just attach it to the reply to the email and I will take a look at what could be causing Newsberry to ignore them.

    Hi Natalie,

    I attached the file. When I add the list, it gives me the option of
    using the original or the updated email addresses. I've tried both on
    separate occasions and it doesn't see to add them.
    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Thanks Melissa,

    I'll take a look. At first glance, there looks like something is wrong with the file and the way Newsberry is recognizing all of the email addresses as invalid. I will have to look more closely to see how to fix the file. I'll get back to you as soon as I have something.

    Hi Natalie,

    We ended up exporting through a different program and a majority of
    the emails got uploaded.

    I'm glad it worked. It looks like there were some weird hidden characters at the end of each address which was causing the issue.
