question on templates

Is it possible to create dynamic templates? To explain, I'd like to create a newsletter that pulls data from a database, and it specific to each recipient. Therefore, everything I send something out, the template changes based on the data. (Think of a pie chart that changes each time I send out the mail.)

Perhaps this is too complicated for this service....

I'm going to try to explain this better:

I would like to set up a template that will go to, say, 100 people. The names, emails, zip codes, etc., of the people won't change. However, assume that one of the sections on the template would be "Recent Sales" So, each recipient would only see the sales local to them (based on zip code.) Also, assume I'd send out the newsletter every two weeks. The "recent sales' section itself wouldn't change, but the listings would.

For this to scale, I'd need the ability to create the content dynamically, ideally through API calls to my database so I don't have to do any importing or uploading...

    Hi David,

We do not support dynamic content. We do have custom tags where we can grab someone's specific information (zip code, name, city, etc) but we don't have the ability to send a single campaign with varying content for subscribers.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Thanks,

    Natalie
