Greetings,

I just recently added new subscribers to an existing subscriber list. Could you elaborate on the following message I received after importing- 16162 emails added, 24539 updated?. I assume that you check for duplicates as the import file had well over 20,000 email addresses. Correct? What's the distinction between "added" and "updated"?

Also, I tried importiing subscribers by uploading .CSV and .XLSX files, using IE8/Windows 7. I got a red error message after the path input box stating that only csv, xlsx files were allowed. Bug? The files worked fine usng FF 3.0/Windows 7. Something to check. Maybe it's just my computer.

    Hi Winston,

Newsberry scans existing subscribers in the list and updates any that already exist. This means, any duplicates are not re-added, but we do update them with any new information from the latest import. When the emails are added, that means they were not previously in the list and are new to your list.

With regards to the bug, we've never had it reported before. Could you send us the file so we can take a look? It might be something specific with that file and the browser. Thanks for letting us know there is a problem, we'll fix it right away.

    Natalie
