hi
have a yahoo store. there is an advanced dns area but I see no options for adding the records you mention. Can you give more info on how to accomplish this within the yahoo store framework?

My options for advanced dns in yahoo store are: A and CNAME Records and MX Records and Manage domains and subdomains. None of these appear to be what you are talking about editing.

    Hi Shelly,

Can you contact Yahoo and ask if they support TXT records? This is what you will need to added DKIM and SPF records.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I can ask, but I find yahoo does not support much at all. Alternative, I have a hostgator account with this site: evandesignsmodelbuilder.com hostgator has cpanel. Is that easier to work with?

    Hi Shelly,

The DNS settings are different for every web host. I recommend
contacting your host and ask about adding TXT Records. We'll be able
    to help you from there.

    Thanks,

    Natalie

ok, so you have never heard of cpanel? It is not specific to hostgator. I
    thought everyone knew cpanel.

Here is the mailFAQ I was able to find:
    http://www.docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/AllFAQ/MailFAQ#Does_cPanel_WHM_support_SPF

search the doc for spf and then kindly let me know how to accomplish?

    Hi Evan,

We do know cpanel, but we do not support cpanel as part of Newsberry's service. When it comes to DNS, you must work with your webhost to alter the settings. We can help along the way if your or your webhost has questions about DKIM or SPF records.

According to that FAQ, cpanel does not allow editing of SPF records. Please let me know what hostgator says. They should be able to help you.

    Thanks,
    Chris
