Good afternoon,

Last week we jumped in to create a newsletter as quickly as possible, so I started by just clicking on a template that I saw right away. Is that the best way to begin at the beginning? I am not sure how you set up the formatting for the different choices that you list in the Templates section. If someone is new to Newsberry, is it simpler to use one of the sample newsletter formats farther down on the page of examples? I am working with a colleague who has ended up putting a lot of time into working with the template that I rather randomly chose. (She does not barrage you with help requests, as I do.) Do you think we should have started from a different point? I have other projects that I will want to distribute through Newsberry, so I want to be sure that I am working with the best format for each particular distribution. What do you suggest for Newsberry Newbies?

Thanks so much,

Carson

    Hi Carson,

I'm not sure what the templates were at the top of your template list since they may be custom ones created by someone else in your account. My suggestion is to look through the templates in their entirety. They vary by color but also by style: Left column, Right column and no column. These different formats may matter to you depending on your content.

I know a lot of our customers select the color scheme of a template based on how well it matches their logo. Not sure if that matters to you guys.

Let me know if that helps at all. I can elaborate further, of course!
